Ethan Cole

 Ethan Cole is a third year student at the College of Charleston studying Classics with a focus on silver age Latin poetry. Particularly the intersection of comedy and horror in Lucan’s Pharsalia. He has presented his research at two conferences and hopes to attend graduate school to study the same things.

In addition to his studies, Ethan enjoys writing and performing sketch comedy. He performs semi-frequently in Rip City with his sketch group Will and Ethan smile. He loves making people laugh. Along with Will and Ethan smile, Ethan helps plan Cougar Night Live- the College of Charleston’s semesterly sketch comedy show. 

He also enjoys watching and creating movies. A short film he worked on “Hung by a Rubbish Hangman” won first place at the College of Charleston’s 2022 Student short film festival. 

He also enjoys baseball- Go Yankees!
